General information
The Parabolica is made of one type of material and is available in three different colors. The recommended retail price is €219.99 and the jacket is available in sizes S to three times XL. The Parabolica jacket performs best in the warmer periods of the year. This is thanks to the jacket’s good ventilation.
Materials
The Parabolica is a jacket that does not have an extensive range of materials. Something we don’t often see in the Revit collection. Almost the entire jacket is made out of one type of material. The jacket is made entirely of stretch polyester. Stretch polyester has the big advantage that it offers a lot of freedom of movement. This is ideal for the urban sports rider who moves a lot while riding. Besides the fact that stretch polyester is very flexible, it is also very tear-resistant. This way, the jacket provides extra protection during an accident. The stretch polyester is processed in a cut hexagonal construction, which also contributes to the freedom of movement on the motorbike. The jacket is equipped with laminated reflectors. The logo on the left chest is made of this material and we can also find a horizontal reflection strip at the bottom of the jacket. The reflective materials have been added for extra visibility on the road. They show up best in the dark or at dusk.
Protection
Something that is very important when buying a motorbike jacket is of course the protection. The Parabolica is equipped with SEESMART level 1 protectors. These protectors are located around the shoulders and elbows. The protectors feel comfortable and soft. In addition, the SEESMART Level 1 protectors are known for their ability to withstand heavy blows and unexpected impacts. The Parabolica jacket is also prepared for the SEESOFT TYPE RV back protector. This means that the SEESOFT TYPE RV protector can be slid into the back of the jacket as shown here. The SEESOFT material actually has the same characteristics as the SEESMART protectors. The SEESOFT TYPE RV protector is also comfortable to wear and offers protection against heavy blows and unintentional impacts to the body.
Comfort
The Parabolica jacket from Revit is equipped with a high degree of comfort. The first thing you notice are the large front pockets. These are very deep and offer a safe storage space while riding. The downside of this is that the jacket has no inner pockets. Just like the Spark Air, the Parabolica also has a hood that is secured with snap buttons. This prevents the hood from flapping when riding in windy conditions. The Revit jacket is equipped with thumb loops at the end of the sleeves. These thumb loops prevent wind from entering the jacket via the hands. These thumb loops also relieve the wrist when using the jacket. The Parabolica should offer freedom of movement, look good, and give you a good feeling. So the Parabolica is a comfortable jacket that also looks good.
