The Revit Mile is a leather motorcycle jacket with a 70s design. The motorcycle jacket consists of a total of 5 different types of material. The jacket is made for the motorcycle rider who likes to limit himself to the urban area. Like most Revit jackets with an old-school design, this jacket also belongs to the ‘Heritage’ collection of Revit. The jacket is available in two different colours, namely full black and a combination of red and black. The Revit Mile is available in sizes 46 to 58.
Materials
A total of three different types of leather have been used. The most common one is the cowhide leather, followed by Nubuck artificial leather and normal artificial leather. The cattle leather that is used has the advantages of being durable, hard-wearing and at the same time flexible. Compared to the other types of leather, the cattle leather is the one with the most weight. This is due to its highly breathable fibre pattern. Bovine leather is the basis of the jacket and it is processed around the entire upper body and back. To make the Revit Mile as flexible as possible, Revit has chosen to use PWR SHELL stretch material on the inside of the sleeves and armpit pits. This material is specifically processed in these areas, because the arms need the most flexibility when riding. The white/silver stripes on the chest and upper back are made from Nubuck leather. The logos on the jacket and the Revit name on the arm are also made from this material. Nubuck leather is known to have a very nice look and this is the main reason it was added to the jacket. The last two materials used in the production of the Revit Mile are materials that, among other things, provide extra visibility. For example, a vertical reflection strip runs across the entire back. In the collar of the ventilated motorcycle jacket, a piece of Neoprene has been added. This is a difficult word for synthetic rubber.
Protection
The shoulders and elbows are protected by the Level 1 SEESMART Protectors. The SEESMART material feels soft and is known to withstand heavy impact. The Revit Mile jacket is also prepared for the SEESOFT TYPE RV back protection. This means that a SEESOFT Back Protector can be slid into the motorcycle jacket. The SEESOFT Back Protector is not included with the jacket and must be purchased separately.
Comfort
The Revit Mile is equipped with adjustment points at the bottom of the jacket. With these adjustment points, you can adjust the fit of the jacket, so it will fit your body as well as possible. Revit also added a 3D- mesh ventilation panel behind the central zip. This should provide extra ventilation flow, allowing you to cool down well while riding in warm weather. Just like most other jackets in the ‘Heritage’ collection, the Revit Mile also has a windstopper behind the central zip. This ensures that as little wind as possible enters the jacket. The two pockets on the front of the jacket provide convenience and safe storage. The jacket also features a removable, thermal inner lining that can be easily attached and removed. The thermal lining provides extra warmth when riding in cold weather.
