Revit Matador Jacket Black-Anthracite

The Revit Matador is a sporty motorcycle jacket suitable for on-road touring in dry weather. The jacket comes from the 2022 adventure sports collection by Revit and is designed with a lot of high-end materials. The jacket is also equipped with very good protection specifications. The leather motorcycle jacket combines versatility with race-inspired elements. The Revit motorcycle jacket is available in three different colour combinations. The Revit Matador is available in sizes 46 through 58.

Material

The main part of the jacket consists of leather. For the logo on the chest and back, a piece of synthetic leather is used. The other leather that makes up the largest part of the jacket is called ‘Monaco Performance Cowhide’. This is a high-quality cowhide that offers protection against tearing. The cowhide is very strong and yet very supple, allowing for great freedom of movement when riding the motorbike. The second material used is PWR Shell Stretch. This is a very stretchy material that is located around the thighs and the back. It is specially added for even more freedom of movement when riding. The next material to provide extra freedom of movement is the stretch polyester. This fabric is found on the inside of both sleeves. All stretch materials are not only flexible, but also durable. An important material that is also used on this jacket is the special 3D mesh, which we find on the upper arms, the chest and the shoulder blades. The ventilation is specially designed for on-road riders who sometimes spend whole days riding in the sun. The last two materials are both processed in the jacket for extra visibility on the road. The Neoprene fabric is incorporated at the end of the sleeves. Neoprene is a synthetic rubber, which is hard-wearing, rubber-resistant and waterproof. The last material to be discussed is the reflection material on the lower back and top of the shoulders.

Protection

The Revit motorcycle jacket is equipped with SEEFLEX level 2 protection around the elbows and shoulders. During the production of the Matador jacket, space was kept free for SEESOFT protection on the chest and back. This means that the Matador jacket can be upgraded with SEESOFT level 1 and SEESOFT TYPE RV protectors. Unfortunately, these SEESOFT protectors are not included in the standard delivery of the jacket and must be purchased separately. The SEEFLEX and SEESOFT protectors are characterized by the hard material, which can withstand heavy impact. The TPU protectors provide additional shoulder protection. These protectors are derived from the MotoGP. They provide additional reinforcement in the event of a road slide. The safety seams also play a role in protection. These are applied to the areas with an increased risk of impact. The safety seams ensure that the outer material stays together when you come into contact with the ground.

Comfort

The Revit Matador is equipped with all kinds of conveniences such as, wind stoppers, removable inner jacket and good ventilation panels. Besides the 3D mesh, small ventilation holes are located on the chest and upper back, which contributes to better ventilation. The inner jacket that can be removed is called the ‘Thermal Liner’ and is located with a zip. In warm weather, the inner jacket can be removed in seconds. This makes the jacket an air-vented motorcycle jacket. Behind the zip of the outer jacket is a wind stopper that prevents wind from entering the jacket through the neck. The last point of comfort is located at the bottom of the jacket. The Matador has adjustment points to adjust the jacket to your own needs.
