The Revit Kinetic Adventure Gloves are the latest in Revit’s rapidly expanding off road and dual sport riding lines bringing a lightweight airflow focused construction to the dirt trail. These gloves are coming with a strong mix of textile and leather construction to maximize both airflow, abrasion resistance, and comfort while also offering a bit of extra coverage with some light knuckle safety.
So, with a recommended retail price of about 75 Euros or 90 USD, the Rev’It! Kinetic Motorcycle Gloves will be competing with the Dainese X-Moto, Alpinestars Corozal Drystar, and the Klim Badlands Aero Pro Gloves.
Material
As far as material, the Rev’It Kinetic Summer Gloves are coming with a goatskin leather palm, thumb, and fingertips with a water-resistant finish. The back of the hand is coming made of Revit’s PWR Knit material, this is a special knit with reinforcing polyamide fibers to raise the durability of the textile material.
In the index and middle finger, this is also covered with an additional anti-snagging protective film to help the gloves’ durability. Lastly, for comfort the cuff is made of neoprene while the fourchettes are coming made of automan stretch fabric to give you a full range of motion.
Safety
For safety, the Revit gloves will be coming a bit lighter since they’re geared mainly towards the off-road component of dual sport riding. This means that you’re getting an injected flexible knuckle with Temperfoam underneath for impact absorption.
For extra impact coverage, you’re also getting Temperfoam in the palm, fingers, and thumb to also give yourself a bit more time in an impact. Lastly, you are also getting a PWR shield insert in the palm to give you some more abrasion resistance. These are largely meant as a more lightweight off-road glove, and you can also always upgrade to the Revit Sand 4 gloves for added protector coverage. Even so though, the gloves do have a CE Level 1 certified knuckle protector, which shows Revit going the extra mile for safety here since knuckle testing is optional for Level 1 certification.
Comfort
Finally, we come to the Revit Kinetic Dual Sport Gloves’ comfort. First, you are getting a neoprene cuff construction which means you’ll get some stretch and no chafing. With the entry assist loop and Velcro cuff strap, you can put the gloves on. The main thing is that you’ll be getting a great range of motion since flexibility is so important for off road riding. So, with the stretch fabric in the fingers, PWR knit, and flexible protector, you really do get a fantastic level of comfort that will make quick adjustments at the controls even easier.
Lastly, for these gloves you are also getting sizeable Connect Fingertip panels in the index finger and thumb, which will mean that you’ll be able to use these gloves to interact with your touch screen devices.
Summary
The Revit Kinetic Gloves are bringing a nice balance of off road and dual sport flexibility combined with a fair level of coverage and features with a flexible knuckle and a set of phone friendly fingertips.
