Revit Flux H2O Motor Boots

They are tall leather motorcycle boots that are comfortable, keep your feet dry and protect them during your next motorcycle ride. The motorcycle boots are CE certified which we will go into more detail about later in this video.

 

Material

The Flux H2O motorcycle boots from Revit are made of Nubuck leather with a Hydratex Z-liner. The Nubuck leather. Nubuck leather is slightly thicker than, say, suede leather because it is made from the outside of skin, which is why it is more often used for motorcycle boots. The leather is firm, abrasion resistant and durable and is found on the outside of the boot, on the heel and near the logo on the front.

In addition, the boot is made of polyester on the inside of the boots and the panel in the middle of the shoe. The sole of the boot is made of rubber which provides a little more grip while riding but also any other surface when you are walking.

 

Protection:

We continue with the protection and the FLUX H2O Motor Boots from Revit are EN 13634 certified. Looking at the certification we see that it gets the highest value for the length of the boot, the middle value for the abrasion resistance, the middle value against cutting and the middle value for transverse stiffness (2-1-1-1). Transverse stiffness indicates how much resistance the boot offers to crushing your foot when you get stuck under your bike.

As the name of the motorcycle boots implies, it is also WR approved which means that the motorcycle boot is waterproof.

If we look at the boot itself we see that there are also reinforcements placed on the side of the shoe, ankle, heel and toes. In addition, Revit has placed an extra ankle cup in the boot for a little more protection.

 

Comfort

There are two stretch panels placed, one on the front and the other on the back. These provide just a little extra freedom of movement when you are riding or walking.

We also see a shift pad on the outside that protects the boot from wear or damage from the shift pedal.

In addition, there is a Hydratex Z-liner membrane placed between the inner lining the outer fabric. This is a waterproof layer with a laminated layer underneath. This protects the membrane from wear and tear damage and guarantees that you have dry feet during the rain-like days.

To put on the boots you need to open a large Velcro strap with underneath a YKK zipper. The zipper has a Velcro attachment so it will not open accidentally while riding.

Revit’s Flux H2O motorcycle boots feature an OrthoLite insole that provides comfort on the bike but also for everyday use.
