The Revit Element H2O Pants are coming in as the matching set to the Revit Element H2O jacket. This means that these are designed for tougher off road conditions with their dual sport focused construction with tough Cordura construction, large leather patches, waterproofing, and full SEESMART armor complement.
These pants will be coming in only black, in standard, short, and long sizes from S to 4XL. So, with a recommended retail price of about 370 Euros or 450 USD, the Revit pants will be competing with the Klim Dakar, Icon Raiden, Alpinestars Venture-R , and the Dainese Solarys Pants.
Material
The Revit Element Pants are mainly coming with a Cordura 750D ripstop construction, which will be tough and abrasion resistant while still remaining fairly light weight. To make sure that you also get a good degree of stretch, the Revit pants are also coming with PWR Shell Ripstop material in the crotch, above the knees, and in the back of the waist. PWR Shell Ripstop is Revit’s own take on Cordura and it uses their own reinforced fiber to keep up abrasion resistance.
Lastly, the inside of the knees use a large Monaco performance cowhide leather panel that runs all the way down to the cuffs. This will make sure that the pants offer better grip on the bike as well as providing better insulation against heat from the bike. For added visibility, you’re also getting reflective panels in the cuffs.
Safety
For safety, the Rev’It Element H2O Adventure Pants are coming with a full set of SEEMSART protectors in the knee and hip. This armor is coming as CE Level 1 in the knees and, as a nice feature, CE Level 2 in the hips for a higher level of impact absorption. For added safety, the Revit Scram knee brace (sold separately) can also be worn underneath the pants, which explains the lower certification level of the knee protector.
In addition to this, the pants are also coming with a jacket to pants zipper to connect with the Revit Element Jacket and turn it into a two piece dual sport suit. Finally, the Revit pants are EN 17092 Class A certified, which is a fair level considering the pants are mainly designed for off road riding and ease of movement.
Comfort
For comfort, Revit have also done very well here since the Rev’It! Element Motorcycle Pantsare meant to be coming in as a lighter option for off roading while remaining at the premium segment. This means that the pants are coming with a Hydratex waterproof layer laminated onto the interior with a 3 layer construction. So, it is actually going to be hidden between the internal and exterior liners, which will also help with lengthening its durability. If you find that the waterproofing is not enough as you ride in cooler conditions, the pants do also come with a detachable thermal liner.
The Revit Element Trousers are mainly going to be fastened with a micrometric buckle, which offers fantastic adjustability. In addition to this, you’re getting a set of buttons in the cuffs to help fit over a pair of boots. For storage, you are getting a set of zippered pockets in the thighs and you can also always open up the vents to let some air in. Lastly, Revit have also included Suregrip patches in the seat for extra grip while sitting in the saddle.
Summary
The Revit Element H2O Pants are going to be bringing a surprisingly strong level of features to the dual sport riding segment. They’re bringing us a more lightweight option that will be more suited to dirt riding that is also bringing a nice balance of touring features with its waterproof layer and detachable liner.
