Product Description LS2 Thunder Carbon

The LS2 Thunder Carbon is a sport-race motorcycle helmet made by the brand LS2. The Thunder Carbon has the 22.06 certification, and the helmet has a more oval fit.

If you want to hit the track and need a FIM certified helmet you will need the GP PRO Version, only this version is FIM Certified.

The Thunder Carbon will compete with the AGV Pista GP RR, Shoei X-SPR Pro, Bell Race Star DLX, X-Lite x-803 RS Ultra Carbon, Shark Race-R Pro GP, Scorpion EXO-R1 EVO Carbon, Roof RO200 Carbon, Icon Airframe Pro, HJC RPHA 1 and the Arai RX-7V Evo

Material

The LS2 Thunder carbon is made of multiple layers of carbon fiber. This has resulted in a very light and strong carbon helmet. Carbon is the best material a helmet can be made of since less material is uses to reach a certain level of protection which results in a lightweight helmet.

The full-face helmet is available in 6 sizes and 3 (XS-S / M-L / XL-2XL) outer shell sizes. The more outer shell sizes a helmet has the better. A more compact helmet does not only look better, but it is also safer.

Visor

The LS2 Thunder Carbon has a 3D Optical A Class visor. This visor is UV Resistant and tear-off prepared. In addition, the helmet is also pinlock lens prepared and is included in the box. The pinlock lens that is included in the box is a Pinlock max Vision lens, which ensures that your visor never fogs up while riding.

The visor mechanism is a quick release system so that you can change your visor easily and without tools.

Comfort

The inner liner of the LS2 Thunder Carbon is made of X-Static silver liner, which is washable and breathable. This liner is also hypoallergenic, which means that the liner is moisture wicking and keeps your head cool while riding.

The helmet also has an Emergency Quick Release. This ensures that, in the event of an incident, the helmet can be removed in a safe and easier way and the closure of the helmet is a double-D Ring. To increase the visibility on the helmet they also placed reflective patched on the helmet. The helmet also has a Multi-Density EPS inner shell to increase safety.
