Protective clear acrylic panel fits in front of plate. For extra dazzle, included chrome-plated metal backing plate mounts to existing original license plate bracket using existing hardware. Adhesive-backed sponge fillers (included) prevent plate from rattling. Designed for 4-1/8" x 8-1/8" plates, but can be used on smaller 4" x 7" plates when you use spacers (not included) on sides of frame.
